Promotion coincides with the launch of Mission Bell Media, and their new partnership with Credo.
Boston, Oxford, Santa Barbara – (January 21, 2015) – Mission Bell Media, (MBM), the new reference publisher providing leadership-focused resources for librarians and their community, and Credo, the industry leader for information skills solutions, are partnering to give away MBM's first title, Leadership Glossary, at the ALA Midwinter meeting in Chicago.
Leadership Glossary: Essential Terms for the 21st Century, is an authoritative, up-to-date, and inter-disciplinary compendium of 750 of the most important terms used in leadership study and practice. Librarians who visit either booth during the conference (MBM, #1829 or Credo, #2432) will receive a free copy of the Leadership Glossary if they give a shout out to their favorite leader in the library; that leader will receive a copy of the book as well, along with a personal note letting them know they are a library leader who's making a difference.
The Shout Out! Giveaway is being held in conjunction with the launch of the “Mission Bell Media powered by Credo” partnership, in which Credo is the exclusive e-book aggregator for all MBM titles.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to be working with such a respected reference aggregator as Credo," commented Rolf Janke, Mission Bell Media Founder and CEO. "They've always been a leader in the market, with their focus on the value of reference content for libraries, and since our focus is on library leadership, our partnership is a natural fit."
“We are excited at the prospect of this new partnership between Credo and Mission Bell Media," added Credo CEO Mike Sweet. "Rolf Janke has my respect and admiration as a leader in our industry and one who shares our vision for the role of reference in research and instruction."
